MUDPIE’S SHEEP & WOOL FESTIVAL

This February, we hosted our first ever Mudpie’s Sheep & Wool Festival in our little shop – the one and only celebration of wool of its kind in South Africa….and what fun we had.  Over the month, we had lots of competitions and fun with our customers.  In week one, all of our white charity wool was on special – white sheep:). In week two, valentine’s week – all our red charity wool was on special, and in week three, all our black charity wool was on a crazy special – black sheep week:) The month of fun and games ended with a “Where is Woolly?” competition – we hid 25 little sheep in our wool collection and if you found Woolly, you got the ball of wool absolutely free.  We also shared various wool and sheep crafting ideas and had a knitted/crocheted woolly sheep competition.  So February is forever going to be our month of silliness and set to become a much loved ANNUAL event…
